Sorry but Stoneleigh Community Library is now only partially open for the foreseeable future due to Coronavirus and
Please keep an eye on our Social Media accounts and this website for updates. This is because at least half our lovely volunteer force is over 70 years old and others have health issues and so we cannot run a usual service. Surrey County Council has issued this, more general, advice about the library service. Click HERE to read it.
I am sure you appreciate why the trustees of Friends of Stoneleigh Library have made this decision.

Board Games Evening Date to be announced once restrictions are lifted (7pm — 9pm) |
|
Stoneleigh Library will be hosting a FREE Board Games night for adults. No need to book, just turn up and grab a seat. Please bring your favourite board games and come early as space will be limited. Free tea and coffee will be provided but you can also bring your own drinks if you want. This is a new venture and we hope to make it a regular event should it prove popular.

Winter Reading Challenge |
|
We are running a mini winter reading challenge at the library. The challenge is to read at least three books and it runs from 2nd December to 16th January. The Winter Reading Challenge is open to children of any age. Children can choose any book to read, not just library books, and they can read all 3 books in one go. They don’t have to make 3 visits to the library. Just collect a Reading Record from the table in the lobby of the library. Children can choose a Christmas themed character and add their first name. This character will go up on our progress board display. If Children want to colour in their characters, please take them home, colour them in and bring them back after the children have finished their first book. As the child progresses through their books, they can visit the library and move their character along the display. All children completing the challenge will receive a special Christmas Reading Challenge Certificate. |
