Stoneleigh Community Library is a collaboration between Surrey County Council and the Friends of Stoneleigh Library - a charitable association specifically formed to ensure that Stoneleigh continues to have a vibrant community library that is an enriching and responsive resource for all.

NATIONAL SCRABBLE DAY

Saturday 13th April 10.30 am - 12.30 pm

Calling all Scrabble fans and the Scrabble-curious!  Join us at Stoneleigh Community Library on National Scrabble Day for games and refreshments - see Special Events for more information.

WORLD BOOK NIGHT

Tuesday 23rd April 5.30 pm - 9.00 pm

For adults only!  To celebrate World Book Night the library will be be open in the evening for the launch of a Spring Reading Challenge on the theme of Quick Reads.  As well as choosing a book (no more than 250 pages) to get you started with the Challenge there will be storytelling performances, a quiz and free refreshments.  See Special Events for more information.

WARM WELCOME

Stoneleigh Community Library is pleased to be one of the Warm Hubs being set up across Epsom and Ewell this winter, where people will find a safe, warm and friendly environment to enjoy a hot drink, and social activity and receive information and advice.

As well as a warm welcome we can offer our visitors free refreshments (tea, coffee, squash) and activities (games and puzzles) during the library opening hours.  Anyone struggling to stay warm at home will find a hot drink and good company waiting for them at their local library.

This initiative continues until 31st March 2024.
